Dana Roy Bradford
1964-2022
Bradford, Dana Roy
– 58 of Porters Lake passed away on July 26, 2022 at home.
Born in Blacks Harbour New Brunswick, he was the son of Donald and
Evelyn (MacDougall) Bradford of Utopia, New Brunswick.
Dana was employed
with MDA as a Software Development Engineer. He also worked as a
Business Analyst with Irving Shipbuilding. Dana was a lifelong seeker
of life, music, education, faith and love. A talented songwriter,
performer and musician. He was a dedicated and beloved Music Ministry
Leader along with his wife JoAnn at New Covenant Ministries Church.
His family will miss his warmth and love.
Dana is survived by
his wife, JoAnn (Wiseman); son: Benjamin; daughters: Allison Stewart
and Courtney Ryder; his parents: Donald and Evelyn Bradford; sisters:
Wendy Bradford and Necole Bradford (Cory Leavitt); brothers: Donald
Wayne, Shawn (Carla) and Scott (Simone); sisters in law: Kim Mast
(Meino) and Sandy Wiseman-Yates (Peter); many beloved nieces, nephews
and cousins. He was predeceased by paternal grandparents: Donald and
Cora Bradford; maternal grandparents: Ernest and Laura MacDougal;
mother in law; Sandra Wiseman.
Visitation to be held at the Atlantic Funeral
Home, Dartmouth Chapel from 7-9pm on Wednesday August 3rd with a
funeral service 10:00 am Thursday August 4th followed by a reception
all in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth.
Dana’s remains will then travel to New Brunswick where
visitation will be held at the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26
Portage Street, St. George NB on Friday, August 5th from 2-4 and
6-8pm. Home Going Service will be held from the Blacks Harbour
Wesleyan Church, Blacks Harbour NB on Saturday August 6th at 2:00 pm
with Rev. Gary Bitely officiating. Burial in
Pennfield Rural Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations to
Diabetes Canada.
