Courageously, suddenly and peacefully during surgery at Toronto General Hospital on Tuesday, June 28th 2022. Beloved husband and “best friend” of Cheryl (nee Peters), devoted and proud dad to Scott (Patti); Kingston, Laura (Matt Thurlow); Etobicoke, Ryan; Napanee, and Tiffany (Corey Waurechen); Toronto. Cherished grandpa of Cameron, George, Noah, and June. Predeceased by his parents Naish and Cecile, brother Bruce (Sharon). Caring brother-in-law to Terry Peters, Doug (Sherry) Peters, and Fay Beale. Uncle to Angie, Beth, Kerri and Josh Desveaux, Dee Sabramsky, late Dustin Peters, and Grant Peters. Dale will also be in the thoughts of his extended family, many friends, customers and tenants.
Visitation at the Wartman Funeral Home – Napanee on Monday, July 4, 2022 from 1-4 & 6-9 pm with prayers at 12:30 pm. Funeral Mass at St Patrick’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 5 at 11:30 am. We sincerely request the honour of your presence following the mass at the Strathcona Paper Centre for some refreshments and light lunch. Private family burial at a later date.

It was always family first and foremost for Dale, and it would be difficult to find someone with a stronger work ethic. He was a pillar of the community, a man of deep faith and was happy to give freely of his time and attention. As he always said…. “Make it a good day.” From all of us….. “don’t ever forget how much we love you.”
