With heavy hearts, we announce that Cristita “Lita” Medrano, passed away on March 21, 2022, in Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg at the age of 73 years.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Juanito, her parents Susana and Quirino, Sister Mely and other close relatives and friends.
Lita grew up in San Joaquin, Pasig City and moved in Winnipeg in 2013.
Cristita will be missed by her children, Joel (Priscila), Jun (Mary), and Jocelyn (Ariel), her grandchildren, Jaycie (Jennilane), Jasmin, Jill, Jonathan, Jasper, Jacob, her great grandchildren, JM, and Joecenn. She is survived by her siblings Emy, Vicky (Fred), Teddy (Lucena), and Lulu.
Cristita is a loving wife to Juanito, selfless mother to her children, a generous sister to her siblings, and a warmhearted person to her grandchildren. She spent her life making sure that her family is stable and well taken care of. During her free time, she usually watches “teleserye”, “mukbang” and talk to her siblings in the Philippines. She always like her relatives to be around her in gatherings and she will always cook for any occasions. Most weekends, she will ask to go to groceries and buy some bodywash, lotions and watches.
Lamay (viewing) will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022, from 5:00 pm to 12:00 midnight at Mosaic Funeral Home, 1839 Inkster Blvd. Winnipeg, MB.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 836 Arlington St. Winnipeg MB.
