Connie Poisson nee Voakes 2022

Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of family and friends. Loving and devoted wife of Brian Poisson. Daughter of Normalie and the late Harold Voakes. Sister of Les (Robin Baker), the late Murray, Alan and Bill. Daughter-in-law of Joyce and the late Richard Poisson. Sister-in-law of Kim (Jim), Kate (Larry), the late Larry, and Leslie (Julie). Niece of Bill Kerr and Larry Harball. Aunt to Renee (Mike), Jason (Sarah), Kaven, Tallis (Kim), James (Jessica), Tara (Chris), Ryan (Kika), Katlyn (A.T.), Jesse (Jillian), Leah (J.J.), Brandon (Jillian), Dayna and great-aunt to Andrew, Matthew, Jacob, Daniel, Nicholas, Brandon, Julia, Julie, Jenny, Gabe, Ellie, Grace, Anna, Anthony, Cecelia, Leya, Skylar, Roland and Lennon.
Thank you for all the support from family and friends, and a special thank you to her lifelong friends Kathy and Nancy who helped care for her along her journey. Connie was a selfless, compassionate and generous person who always put others needs ahead of her own. She loved to work with children, those with special needs and seniors.
If you so desire, donations to the Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Memorial Service Friday, December 30th at 11 a.m. at Families First, 1065 Lauzon Rd, East Windsor (519-969-5841).
