Coleman Bagu Jr.
August 8, 1958 – November 21, 2022
Coleman passed away peacefully at home with family at his side after a very sudden diagnosis of cancer. Coleman loved sports while growing up in Port Colborne, playing hockey and baseball on many championship teams over the years. He moved to St. Catharines in his early adult years and continued there adding slow pitch baseball and also refereeing many hockey games. His love of golfing was always there and you were sure to spot him on the course many times a week and especially after his retirement from GM. Predeceased by his mother Margaret Davison, father Coleman Bagu, grandmother Elizabeth Bagu, brother Gordon Bagu and step-father George Davison. He is survived by his siblings Linda Lambert, Mark & Diana Bagu, Penny Bagu, Paula Davison (Michael Sonnenberg), Martha Lacas (Rob). He will be dearly missed by his 10 nieces & nephews and 11 great-nieces & nephews, aunts & uncles and numerous special cousins. Coleman had many friends and was well known in his travels between Port Colborne and St Catharines and beyond. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place at Pleasantview Funeral Home & Cemetery. A thank you to MAID for your assistance in a peaceful passing. If so desired, memorial donations can be made to Port Colborne Minor Hockey. Arrangements are entrusted to Davidson Funeral Home, 135 Clarence Street, Port Colborne. A heartfelt thank you to Mark McCormack who grew up with Coleman & the family. Rest in peace dear brother XO.
