The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of the
Community Hospital, O’Leary, on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, with his
loving family by his side, of Clifford
Wade Coughlin, of Alberton, age 75 years.
Beloved husband to Elizabeth Bell (Betty, nee Arthur) Coughlin. Born
on October 31, 1946, he was the son of the late Willard and Ruth (nee
Matthews) Coughlin.
Dear father to Sylvia Coughlin of Victoria, BC, Darlene
Coughlin of Launching, PEI, Kelly Coughlin of Kensington and
Jason (Linda) Coughlin of Miscouche. Cherished grandfather to Cody
Gallant, Raelene Gallant, Owen Fornetran and Brynne, Isabella,
Brooklyn and Jaxon Coughlin. Dear brother to Cora Hardy, Lynn (Gordon)
Adams, Angie (Wade) MacDonald, Cindy (Lennie) Gillis of Stratford,
Janet Coughlin Cameron, Alexis (James) Hardy and Kent (Charlotte)
Coughlin. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, his
nieces, nephews and by his many friends.
He was predeceased by his sister, Mona and by his brother,
Roger.
Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton. A private
family funeral Monday afternoon from the Elmsdale Church of the
Nazarene for funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the church
cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy memorials to the Canadian
Diabetes Association or to the PEI Lung Association.
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic Vax passes and Goverment issued
ID are needed to attend the funeral.
The funeral will be lived-streamed on the Elmsdale Church of
the Nazarene Facebook page Monday afternoon at 2:00
p.m.
