It is with sadness that we
announce the passing of Clifford MacPherson, with his granddaughter
Lauren by his side on Sunday, February 27 th , 2022 at the age of 87
years. Predeceased by his wife Gloria (nee MacLeod), son Grant Harlen
MacPherson, mother Sarah Margaret (Sadie) MacPherson, stepfather
Roderick MacPherson, in-laws Florence and Grant Sencabaugh, Laurie and
Bunnie MacLeod, Wayne Sencabaugh, and Boyce Hicken. Clifford will
lovingly be remembered by his daughter Linda (Stephen MacIsaac) and
grandchildren Nicholas (Maggie), Candice (Logan), Benjamen (Sarah) and
Lauren (Julien); daughter Katherine (Leo McGee) and grandchildren
William (Brooklynn) and Grace; daughter-in-law Shari and grandchildren
Jesse (Karine) and Bailey. He also leaves behind seven beautiful great
grandchildren Lucy, Isaac, Leo, Lottie, Margot, Darrow, and Cedric. He
will be fondly remembered by his partner Dorothy Trainor and family,
his in-laws Dale Sencabaugh, Eileen Hicken, and Winston (Gaylene)
Sencabaugh, his dear friend Betty Woodgate, as well as numerous
“MacPherson” cousins and the many great friends he was
fortunate to have over his lifetime.
Clifford’s family
would like to express their sincere thanks to the warmth, kindness,
and great care provided him by the staff of Gillis’ Lodge
where he was fortunate to live out his last few years, as well as
their gratitude to Dr. Terry Magennis who was not only
Clifford’s trusted doctor, but with whom he shared a lot of
laughs.
A celebration of
Clifford’s life will be held this summer. Donations in
memory of Clifford can be made to a charity of your
choice.
