Cleofe Buonamici Monti
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cleofe Buonamici Monti. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on January 21, 2022.
She will be lovingly missed and remembered by Emidio, her husband and best friend of 70 years, her children Angelo (Luciana Parissi), Franca (Egidio Pizzingrilli), proud grandmother to Jessica (Martin Tranquille), Felicia (Anthony Damico), Oriana (Adamo Barberio), Isabella (Shaun Wallach) and great grandmother of Emma. She also leaves to mourn her dear sisters Filomena and Elisa.
It is with love and tenderness that her nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends here and in Italy will remember her. She always loved having her family around the table and welcomed everyone with open arms. We will miss the many heartfelt speeches she delivered at the dinner table with love.
Due to government restrictions, the viewing will be private with the family, on Wednesday, January 26th at Urgel Bourgie Feron / Athos, located at 1275 Av Dollard, Lasalle QC H8N 2J1.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 27 at Madre Dei Cristiani Church 7935 rue Lefebvre, Lasalle QC H8N 2A9. The mass will take place at 10:00 AM with the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Madre dei Christiani Church (1600 Rue Thierry, Lasalle, Quebec H8N 1H5) in her memory will be greatly appreciated.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff of the Lasalle CLSC home palliative care team, especially Dr. Romano, nurse Catherine, and NOVA nurse Emmanuelle for their outstanding care and compassion.
