Obituary of Clarence “Gig” Gagnon
December 20, 1929 – December 13, 2022
Clarence “Gig” Gagnon passed away peacefully on December 13, 2022 with his loving family by his side. Beloved Husband and best friend to Vivian for 72 years. Cherished father of Vivian (Boris), and Bradley. Loving papa to Donavon, Aleks, Nikolas, and Skylar. Reunited in heaven with parents Ovila and Rose and 9 day old daughter Mary. Survived by caring brother Richard. Reunited with siblings Leo, Ernest, Eugene (Mary-Rose), Francis (Agnus), Aldoria (Eleanor), Russell (Beatrice), Stella (Clarence), Goldina (Francis), Cecilia (Rocco), and Loretta (Herman). Gig survived by many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Gig will always be remembered for his lively personality, and his piercing blue eyes. He retired from GM Trim after 36 years. A lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus. Gig was an avid golfer and loved to watch his favourite team the Detroit Tigers. A special thank you goes out to all the caring staff at Extendi-Care Southwood Lakes who took great care of dad. A visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519.253.7234 on December 16, 2022 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish Prayers will take place in the chapel at 8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ronald McDonald House or Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation. Online condolences and cherished memories can be shared at www.windsorchapel.com
