It is with great sadness that we announced the sudden passing of Clarence “Claw” Everett Thompson, age 50, on Friday January 21, 2022 in Regina Saskatchewan. Clarence Everett Thompson- Hįha Ská (White Owl) was born April 22, 1971 in Montmartre, Saskatchewan.
Clarence is survived by his children: Shawn Desnomie (Chumpa), Katelyn Thompson (Max), Samantha Thompson, and Hannah Thompson; his siblings, his twin- Lawrence Thompson, Jacqueline Osceola (Steve), Dawn Thompson (Joe), Christopher Prettyshield, Angela Prettyshield, Lani Elliott (Rob), Clint Rope, Rita Rope, Holley Rope and Leon Ryder; special friends and relatives Howard Desnomie, Penny Norton, Leroy Walker, and William Rope, along with numerous family members such as, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Clarence was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Duncan and Isabelle Prettyshield (nee. Kennedy), maternal grandmother Katherine Thompson (nee. Wasna- Walker), his parents Edgar Prettyshield and Donna Jean Thompson, sister April Rope and nephew Roman McNabb.
Wake will held Thursday January 27, 2022 beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the Carry The Kettle Community Hall, Carry The Kettle Nakoda Nation. Funeral Service will held the following day, Friday January 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the same location. He will be laid to rest in the South Cemetery, Carry The Kettle Nakoda Nation.
