Obituary of Clara Watson
WATSON: Clara (nee Crow)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Clara Watson (nee Crow) on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the age of 91.
Born in Chatham, daughter of the late Clarence & Laurentia (nee Caron) Crow.
She is reunited with her late husband, Vern Watson (2010).
Loving mother of Bill & Gisele Watson, Judy & James Case, and Terry & Michael Flanagan.
Proud grandmother of Matthew Watson (Alyssa), Jonathan Watson, Stephen Case (Randi) and Terry Case (Stacy).
Great-grandma of Aubrey, Alex, Owen and soon to be Baby Case.
Dear Sister of Evelyn Gore (the late Leroy), Jack Crow (Andree), & Sharron Balfour (Larry).
Predeceased by sister, Mary Verlinde (Rene).
Sister-in-law of Ann Watson (James).
Missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Clara attended Secretarial School at the Canadian Business College in 1948 & before marriage, worked with Huron Construction. She lived & worked on the farm with Vern for many years. Clara and Vern owned and enjoyed their cottage in Gowganda, Ontario where she would spend her time fishing & hunting. Clara loved watching her sports, doing her puzzles and playing cards. Mostly, Clara loved to spend time with her family.
A Private Family Service and Burial in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
In memory of Clara, donations may be made to the London Health Sciences Centre (Heart & Stroke Unit) or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
