It is with great sadness that the family of Ms. Claire Poulin, of Miramichi, NB, announce that her death occurred too soon at her residence on February 12, 2022, at the age of 59, with family by her side.
Born in Laval, Quebec on June 21, 1962, Claire was the daughter of both the late Gilles and Cecile (Bastien) Poulin and the sister of the late Roger Poulin.
Claire is survived by her partner, Gilles Hachey of Miramichi; her step-daughters: Anne-Marie (Eric Williston), Allison (Jesse Thomas), and Angela (Justin Robb); her step-son, Andrew (Hannah Ross), all of Miramichi; her grandchildren: Eliana, William and Wesley; her sisters of Quebec, Micheline of Brossard, Johanne of Nouvelle and Louise (Claude Trudel) of Montreal and her brother, Mario also of Montreal. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Claire worked in customer service for the best part of her life. Her luminosity, her unifying love and her contagious smile touched all those who crossed her path.
A visitation will be held at Adams Funeral Home, 140 King St., Miramichi on April 16, 2022 from 12-2 pm with funeral service to follow from Adams Funeral Home Chapel at 2pm.
As expressions of sympathy, donations in memory of Claire to the Alzheimer Society of Canada for Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease would be greatly appreciated by the family.

C’est avec une profonde tristesse que la famille de madame Claire Poulin annonce son décès survenu trop rapidement à sa résidence de Miramichi au NB, le 12 février 2022, à l’âge de 59 ans, entourée des membres de sa famille. Née à Laval, Québec, le 21 juin 1962, Claire était la fille de feu Gilles et de feue Cécile (Bastien) Poulin et la sœur de feu Roger Poulin, tous de Montréal
Claire laisse dans le deuil son conjoint, Gilles Hachey, de Miramichi; ses belles-filles : Anne-Marie (Eric Williston), Allison (Jesse Thomas), Angela (Justin Robb), son beau-fils, Andrew (Hannah Ross), toutes et tous de Miramichi ainsi que ses petits-enfants: Eliana, William et Wesley ; ses sœurs du Québec: Micheline de Brossard, Johanne de Nouvelle et Louise (Claude Trudel) de Montréal, ainsi que son frère, Mario de Montréal ; elle laisse également dans le deuil de nombreux neveux, nièces, cousins, cousines, parents et ami-e-s.
Claire a œuvré la majorité de sa vie au service à la clientèle. Sa luminosité, son amour rassembleur et son sourire contagieux ont touché toutes celles et ceux qui ont croisé sa route.
La date des funérailles sera annoncée ultérieurement.
Un don à la mémoire de Claire en témoignage de sympathie à la Société Alzheimer du Canada pour la maladie de Creutzfeldt-Jacob serait vivement apprécié.
