Clair E. Hill
1930-2022
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Clair
Hill at Hotel Dieu of St. Joseph, Perth-Andover at the age of 92.
Clair left this world on December 23, 2022 to spend Christmas with his
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Clair leaves behind his wife and love of 40 years, Ruth.
Survived also by his daughter Mary Anne (Richard Leblanc). Predeceased
by his first wife Frances (Clifford), daughter Joy Hill and parents
Fred and Annie Hill. Survived also by his step children, Diana
(Michael Stanley), Gail (Ted Oulds), Karen (Eric Larsen), Robert
(Debbie Jensen), Valerie (Dale Tompkins), his sister Mary Nyborg,
brothers Eugene (Jacki Hill) and Paul (Rhoda Hill). Predeceased by
sister Erma (Wendell Hawkins), sister Barbara (Bob Hitchcock), stepson
Reid Jensen, brother-in-law Ivan Nyborg. He has many grandchildren and
great grandchildren that Love him and cherished their times
together.
Clair had a love for his Lord, his wife and family. Clair was
gifted in quoting Scriptures, many poems even up until his death.
Clair’s loves also included fishing, gardening, flowers, his John
Deere, singing hymns, teaching Sunday School and being superintendent
of the adult class, farming which he did until his retirement. He will
be remembered in our hearts for ever.
Resting at O’Regan’s Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd.,
Grand Falls with visiting hours on Wednesday December 28th from 11
a.m. until 2 p.m.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday December 28th at 2
p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Leonard Cousins officiating.
Interment will be in the Ortonville Baptist Cemetery at a later
date.
For those who wish, donations to the Ortonville Baptist
Cemetery, The Gideons or a charity of the donor’s choice would be
appreciated by the family.
In these trying times, the family would appreciate visitors
considering wearing a mask when you come to the funeral
home.

Ruth, Maryann and family..please accept our condolences on your loss. I remember you all so well, during our family’s time in Grand Falls. my Dad was pastor in Grand Falls/Ortonville and thought the world of the entire Hill family. I was so appreciative of Claire attending the visitation of my Dad passing..May your memories comfort you and knowing you will be reunited one day
