October 20, 1936 – November 8, 2022
After a full life of 86-years, Ann peacefully passed away on November 8 surrounded by her children.
Family was everything to Ann. Up until the final moments, her family was with her. In-person, through photos—she even met her week-old great-granddaughter over FaceTime.
Ann will be remembered for her humour and the joy she got from sharing meals, socializing and connecting with others. After losing Ralph, her husband of 46-years, in 2002, Ann spent her time adding to her chosen family: joining the Red Hat Society, volunteering in the gift shop at Georgian Bay General Hospital and weekly happy hour socials with friends.
Ann leaves behind: three beloved children and their partners, Diane & Paul, Susan, and Paul & Shelley; 10 grandchildren and their partners, Jessica, Zac & Kayla, Josh & Brittnay, Megan, Caleb, Spenser, Travis, Samantha, Amber, Cole and Cade; and, five great-granddaughters, Lylah, Quinn, Charlee, Iris and another joining the family in March 2023.
Her funeral is Friday, November 11, at Lynn-Stone Funeral Home in Elmvale. Visitation from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. followed by a service. Ann’s celebration of life will take place after the service at Georgian Shores Swinging Seniors Club in Balm Beach.
Those who wish to remember Ann with a charitable donation, please support Hospice Huronia – Tomkins House.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of CICCONE ANN nee PRESUNKA 2022..
