Obituary of Christopher Wayne Ulch
ULCH: Christopher Wayne –
It is with great sadness, that the family of Chris Ulch, a resident of Shrewsbury, announce his sudden and unexpected passing at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at the age of 48.
Born in Chatham, Chris was the son of the late Helen Ulch (nee Augustine) (2006).
Loving father of CJ Alexander Ulch.
Dear brother to Chuck Ulch (Tracy), Dave Ulch (Renee) and Deb Lamarsh (Joe).
Much loved uncle to Crystal Lozon (Chris), Sabrina Ulch; James Lamarsh (Marissa) and Jerrid Lamarsh (Christina).
Great-uncle to William, Samara, Sydney, Sevannah, Mckenna and Brody.
Also survived by CJ’s mother, Sylvie Houde.
Dearly missed by many friends and extended family.
Chris had a passion for working on cars, especially custom interiors. He worked for RM Restoration for 13 years, and with Lloyd at Speedy Autoglass for many years, who was like a father to him. Chris has worked for Eco Insulation for almost 10 years. He enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, shooting at the range and spending time with friends and family. He loved his Shrewsbury family whom he has been a member of for the past 20 years.
Chris will be remembered for his laid back, principled nature and his heart of gold.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 2:00 – 4:00pm and 6:00 – 9:00pm. Speeches will be shared at 8:00pm.
Cremation to follow with a private family interment to be held at Maple Leaf Cemetery at a later date.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Shrewsbury at a later date.
Donations made in memory of Chris to the Canadian Cancer Society or Huntington Society of Canada would be appreciated.
