Who passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family at his residence in Copper Cliff on Monday September 5th, 2022
He is survived by his wife of 46 years Denise Corrigan (Brousseau) known playfully as “Big Bird”. The strength of their love will always be true and eternal.
Beloved father of Cecilia (Matthew), Amanda, Richard (Jennyfer), and Lauren. Devoted grandfather to Parker, Mitchell, Eric Junior, Grayson, Yvonne, Esmée, and Charlie.
Devoted son of Cecil J Corrigan and Yvonne Corrigan (Denommee), both predeceased.
Dearest brother to John (Lorraine), Donald (Edna), Douglas (predeceased), Thomas (predeceased) (Margaret), Leslie (predeceased) (Rachelle), Lawrence (Heather), Patrick (Julie). He will be missed by each and every one of his many nieces and nephews.
Born and raised in Copper Cliff, Ontario, Chris spent his early years making memories with his parents and seven brothers at their family camp on the French River. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing pool, and bowling with his friends. He also travelled across Canada in his Mustang searching for his next adventure. His love for travel led him to a fulfilling career as a transport driver where he drove over a million miles, just to provide for his family.
Chris was respected and loved by so many being a true friend and a generous soul. He loved to hunt and fish sharing this passion with his children, grandchildren and closest friends. A true lover of classic rock, his house and dinner table were always filled with the sound of music and laughter. Always in style, Chris was rarely seen without his Supertramp t-shirt and his Indiana Jones hat.
A traditional family-man, the wisdom and love he shared with his children will always be remembered. Through the many stories his memory lives on forever in our hearts.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation entrusted to Lougheed’s funeral home.
All are welcomed to join his family for mass at St. Stanislaus on September 11th at 11 am.
