Obituary of Christine Mary Ann Mellow
It is with heavy hearts the family of Christine Mellow announces her passing, at home on August 26, 2022. Loving wife of Frank Sweeney for 12 wonderful years. Sister of Owen (Jay) and Hugh (Jan). Much loved aunt of Michelle, Nicki, Emmett, Craig, Kevin and Renee. Chris will be missed by Ryan (Andrea), Sean (Char) and Alison. She was the special grandma Chrissy to Zachary, Renee, Aubrey and Luke. She will be dearly missed by her cats Penny and Fizzer. Predeceased by her parents Harrold and Beulah Mellow and her cat Ella.
Christine had the unique ability to make all of her friends and family feel welcome through her love of cooking and baking. The care she applied to her gardens was matched only by the care she took in fostering loving relationships with everyone she met. She loved the theatre with Linda, golf with Val, and walking the beautiful beaches of her brother’s cottage. Her illustrious career at London life took her on escapades across Canada sparking her love for travel across the world. She lived a life full of love, friendship, adventure, and Coronation Street. To say Christine will be greatly missed is an understatement.
A private inurnment with her parents has taken place at St. George’s Cemetery in Tilbury, ON. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Humane Society London & Middle would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences and donations may be made at www.watfordfuneralhome.com.
