Christalena Ann Curd (Mazon) – age 71 of Knoxville went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 20, 2022. She formerly worked many years at the Carrier Corporation until she retired. She was the only sister to seven brothers and was born in Juneau, Alaska. She was from the Tlingit tribe. She was a member of the Church of God of Knoxville. She lived her life dedicated to the Lord. She loved her family and her church family very much! Preceded in death by mother, Helen John Mazon; father, Venancio G. Mazon; brothers, John Mazon, Sr, Theodore (Ted) Mazon, and Knute Felipe Sr. Survived by husband, Richard Curd; children, Angela ( Nikki) Vineyard, Gregg (Michelle) Perry, and Aaron (Jessica) Perry; step children, Starla (David) Blew, and Elizabeth (Jeremiah) Salzewedel; grandchildren, Bethany, Erika , Colton, Moses, Miriam, Zachary, Arionna, Rylee , Grayson, JJ, and Jake; brothers, Venancio G. Mazon, Jr, Semion (Sam) Mazon,, Takdeintaan Willow Raven, Phillip Felipe; close relatives she dearly loved, Barbara Sharp, Carolyn Woods, Savannah Banks, and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the ladies of The Church of God of Knoxville for all the love and care shown to her for many years. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Bridges Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 7:00 PM with Pastor Robin Thames officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:15 PM Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Bridges Funeral Home and go in procession to East TN Veteran Cemetery-John Sevier Hwy. for a 2:00 PM interment.
