Obituary
Charles Taylor “Chic” Sharp passed away at Queen Victoria Hospital, Revelstoke on Sunday, October 30th, 2022, at the age of 71 years. A Celebration of Life is planned for next spring with details to be announced.
Chic was born in Bellingham, Washington on May 6, 1951, and had been a resident of Revelstoke since 1981. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hang gliding and was an accomplished writer of children’s stories. Chic was self-sufficient on his property, growing his own food and collecting his firewood, which he loved to do.
Chic was predeceased by his parents, Floyd, and Ottie. He is survived by his wife Yoshimi of Revelstoke; three daughters: Megan (Ryan) Ali of Cranbrook, Cara Sharp (Raven Bingham) of Kamloops and Sylvan Sharp of Calgary; four grandchildren: Hugo, Tora, Mason, and Maddex; two stepsons: Horoshi and Takumi; two brothers: Randy (Linda) and Todd; niece Terra and nephew Floyd as well as his friend and long-time student Chantal Faucher, his Karate family and many good friends.
