CHARLES, Cheryl Ann (nee Sterling)
1958 – 2022
Cheryl Anne (Sterling) Charles passed away peacefully Sunday, January 9th, 2022 after a long battle with Lung Disease.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Bonnie (Randy) Mekelburg of Longmont, Colorado; and her three granddaughters, Emma, Betty and Piper. She is also survived by her loving sister, Laura Sterling and her children who were a tremendous support to Cheryl in her final years; as well as her sisters, Sandra Weicker (Dave), and June Sterling. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends that all meant the world to her and remained close to her to the end. She is predeceased by her mother, father and brother.
A big thank you to Dr. Cunningham, Dr. Thakrar and Dr. Fell and staff for their loving care over the past four years. Also the staff from Agecare Walden Heights who cared for Cheryl in her final days.
As per Cheryl’s request no memorial service will be held.
To honor her memory, donations can be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation of Canada as well as The Pulmonary Hypertension association of Canada.
