Obituary of Cherie Jackson
It is with sadden hearts that our family announces the peaceful passing of Cherie Jackson (nee Milner) of Vars on Monday, August 15, 2022 at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus at the age of 67. Predeceased by her parents Stewart Milner and Pearl Waite. Loving wife of Meryl Jackson. Proud and caring mother of Neil (Tanya), Amanda Lange (Mark). Predeceased by her son Gerry. Cherished Grandma of Steven, Katie, Ethan, and Addison. Predeceased by her brothers Kenny and Gerald and her sister Bernice. She leaves behind a loving and supportive family. Cherie will be missed by many friends in the community and would always have some home cooked goodies waiting for anyone who stopped in to visit. She was a faithful and dedicated member of her church.
Special Thank you to Dr. Rachel Goodwin, Dr. Edward Fitzgibbon, Dr. Karen Dodge, and all of the wonderful staff of the Medical Oncology Team on 5E and the Cancer Centre for their compassion and care they provided.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at the Trinity Anglican Church Bearbrook, 8785 Russell Road, Navan from 10 am followed by a Funeral Service at 11 am. Interment at the parish cemetery. A reception will follow at the Bearbrook Community Centre.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Trinity Anglican Church c/o Cathy Walsh 1700 Devine Road, Vars, ON K0A 3H0 would be appreciated by the family.
