Passed away suddenly at home with family by his side on August 31, 2022, at 76 years of age. Beloved husband of Susan (nee Stacey) with whom he celebrated 53 years of marriage. Loving father of Scott Curtis (Sandra), Mark Curtis, and Jason Curtis (Lorri). Treasured grandpa of Fiona, Morghan, Ethan, Alyssa, Samantha, and Sophia. He will be missed by his little fur buddy, Buster. He was known by many as Grandpa Charlie. Brother of Myra (late Ken), Evelyn (Don), Bruce (Jackie), Murray (Tess); the late Mildred and Roger (late Donna). Brother-in-law of Bob Stacey (Sue), Karen Kiessling (Dieter), Pat McMurren (Vic), Janet Ruston (John), and John Burden (Debbie). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by his best friend and cousin, Ed Curtis (Donna Mae).
Charlie retired from Ford Motor Company after 40 years of service. He was also a lifelong farmer in Oldcastle. Charlie had many passions including golfing, fishing, and hunting at Deep Bay Hunt Club. Charlie is resting at the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. North, Es on Monday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. The family request that everyone comes dressed casually for all events! Charlie’s life will be celebrated from the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
