Obituary of Charles Frederick Hooper
Passed peacefully away at the US Memorial Health Centre, St. Lawrence on April 29th Charles F Hooper.
Leaving to mourn with found and loving memories wife Dorothy (nee Drake), daughter Peggy (Norbert) of Airdrie, AB; grandchildren Charlie and Luke; sisters Gladys (Wylie), Sylvia (Jim), Sarah (Darren), Viola (Brian), Dorothy; brothers Richard, Shawn (Darlene), Tony ( Anna), Wylie;brothers – in – law Clyde ( Sheila), William (Yvonne); Sisters – in – law Frances, Joan (Phil), Susan, Verna (Leo), Jeananne (Clyde) and by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Predeceased by his parents Author and Eliza Hooper, brothers, George, Jimmy, Randell, Hector, and Calvin; sisters Mondella, Daphne and Tracey; Parents –in-law Jane and Donald Nelson, sisters in law Marie and Jessica; brothers in law Tom, Len and Owen and other members of the Hooper and Drake family.
Charles was a devote husband, father, grandfather, spending time with his family was what made him the happiest. He enjoyed time at the cabin and most weekends you would find him in the woods. He was described as loyal, humble and private. He was loved beyond measure by those who were fortunate enough to know him and will be dearly missed.
In keeping with Charles wishes cremation will follow the funeral service.
Family will be accepting visitors and friends on Sunday, April 30th 2-4PM and 7-9PM.
Donations may be made to the St. Lawrence Fire Department.
