Obituary of Charles Arthur Norman
NORMAN, Charles Arthur- Age 79 of Halifax, it is with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Charles Arthur Norman on May 6, 2022 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary. Charles was born in Halifax; he was a son of the late Reg and Elaine (MacLean) Norman. Charles loved and cherished his family; family meant the world to him. He was very well respected by his friends and the community where he coached youth in baseball in Spryfield for many years. Charles had a love for sports, but especially for baseball and for bowling. He enjoyed going to the local legion and playing cards with friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Anna Norman; sons, Charles Norman, John Norman and Ron Norman; daughters, Mary Norman and Bernadette Norman; grandchildren, Matthew, Jules, Cassandrea (Mike) Billard and Charley Rose; great-grandchildren, Clara Rose and Crystal; sister, Anne Haines; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Danny Norman, Jackie Norman, Reg Norman and Billy Norman. Arrangements and Cremation have been entrusted to J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax. In keeping with Charles wishes there will be a visitation held on Monday May 16, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. at J. Albert Walker Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on May 17, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Stella Maris Parish, 6 St Michaels Ave, Halifax, NS.   2. Derrick and Faithe are so deeply Saddened by the news of Charles passing. He meant a lot to us. We enjoyed hanging out with Charles and Anna. He always made us laugh and was an excellent baseball coach! Charles was very well respected to a lot of people! Charles and Anna made everyone feel like family! He will be very sadly missed!
