Charles from Montreal, Quebec passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at the age of 76 years after a courageous battle in ICU following complications of Covid.
Charles will be lovingly remembered and so missed by his loving wife of 50 years, Janet (née Baldwin); his children, Rick and Susana; his brothers, Bob and Paul; his grandchildren, Claire, Sophie, Charlotte, Carlos, Javier, Guillermo, and Santiago; daughter-in-law Stephanie Werner-Jané; and son-in-law Orlando Andrade. He is also mourned by his many extended family members and friends. Charles was pre-deceased by his parents, Carlos Manual Jané Ferrer and Isabel Madeline “Pat” Jané (née Cooper), but was fortunate to have a stepmother, Helen Claudette “Nancy” Jané (née Thompson) who is also mourning his passing. His brother Howard Jané whom he loved dearly also predeceased him. Charles especially valued family and maintained strong connections with his extended family who live in Barcelona, Spain, Canada, and the United States. Charles enjoyed a lengthy retirement after working for Air Canada for more than 35 years which enabled him to pursue his passion for travel and visiting family.
A Catholic mass will take place for Charles at St Paul’s Church in Airdrie, Alberta on September 16, 2022, which will be available at the following Youtube link youtu.be/lOBXsHTs85k.
