It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Charles Douglas Lake of Baine Harbour formally of Oderin, Placentia Bay announces his passing. Charles passed away in Baine Harbour on Saturday, May 7th, 2022, at the age of 65.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife of 37 years; sons, Matthew (Brittany) of CBS, Trevor (Erin) of Flatrock; brothers Jerry (Lorraine); grandchildren, Gannon, Bristol and Nora. Sister-in- laws, Ann-Marie Hodder (Tom), Regina Peach (William), Alice Chislett (Winston), Bride Mitchell (Bruce), Margaret Grandy (Marvin), Beatrice Kelly (Barry), and Margaret Ducey. Brother-in-laws, Pete Ducey (Mary), Michael Ducey (Jackie), David Ducey (Debbie), Gerald Ducey (Juanita) and nephew, Stephen Walsh; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Charles was predeceased by Parents, Matthew and Rosella Lake; Parents-in-law, Michael and Sadie Ducey; Brother-in-laws, Austin and Edward Ducey.
In keeping with Charles wishes, cremation has taken place.
The Lake Family will be accepting visitors and a funeral service will take place at a date and time to be announced.
In Charles’s memory donations may be made to the family or flowers gratefully accepted.
