Obituary of Charles “Charlie” Phillips
(Retired – Boeing, Arnprior)
With heavy hearts, the family announces that Charlie passed away at Hospice Renfrew while surrounded by a host of human angels early Thursday morning, December 22, 2022; Charles Alexander “Charlie” Phillips of Arnprior was only 67 years of age.
Beloved husband of Carrie (nee Henkelman). Much loved “Dad” of Ashlyn Ackerman and Carly Henkelman-Leavoy. Cherished “Char” of Tessa and Titan Chicquen. Dear brother of Janice Buck (Reg). Dear son-in-law of Kurt and Lorna Henkelman. Special brother-in-law of Jeff Henkelman (Ilona) and Joyce Henkelman (late Stephen). Loved uncle of Bradley and Justin Buck (Chantalle Fish), Alex, Rhiannon and Kyle Henkelman and Victoria Baker. Son of the late Thomas and Hazel (nee Kauffeldt) Phillips. Charlie was a man of many talents. He was born with a strong work ethic. His skills found their way into many aspects of his life. He enjoyed farming, playing sports and being around people. He also didn’t mind telling a good story or sharing a good joke. He was always there for those who needed him. He will be missed by many.
Charlie’s final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where visitation will take place on Friday, December 30th from 2 to 4 p.m. and again from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. A Service to honour and remember Charlie will be held in the Pilon Family Chapel at 7 p.m.
A reception will follow.
