Celeste’s Obituary
Deveau, Celeste Marie – Age 88 of Saulnierville, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. She was born in Concession, and was the daughter of the late Freddie and Emma (Boudreau) Boudreau. Surviving are her husband, Ulysse Deveau; her sons, Brian (St. Alphonse) and Larry (Alberta); daughters, Linda (Truro), Simone and Elaine (Clare); 5 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Irée, Edée, Charlie, Edward; sisters, Léah, Josephine, Catherine, Elisa, Prescille, Délimma. She was the last surviving sibling of her family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Meteghan Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 28th, in Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Saulnierville, at 2pm. Burial of ashes will follow in parish cemetery of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Concession. Père Mathieu will be officiating. Celeste was a lover of animals, especially dogs. Her Catholic faith was very important to her. Despite many health complications, she lived to 88 years old. Her husband, Ulysse, was devoted to her care. Donations may be made in her memory to the cemetery of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Concession.
