Obituary of Cecile Marie Trudell
TRUDELL, Cecile (nee Lauzon)
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Cecile on December 30, 2022 at the age of 79 years after a lengthy battle with progressive supranuclear palsy. Beloved wife to Lawrence “Larry” for 41 years. Predeceased by her former husband the late Marcel Letourneau (1976). Predeceased by her loving parents Ernest and Elizabeth. Loving mother to Marcel Letourneau, Joe Letourneau (Wanda) and Christine Burns (Rick). Cherished Mémé of Joshua Letourneau (Caroline), Joel Letourneau, Jenna Letourneau (Matt Plante), Zachary Burns (Paige Durrell) and Kelsey Burns (Chris Ferris). Proud Grand-Mémé to Henry Letourneau. Cecile is survived by her sister-in-law Mary Jane Lauzon and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her siblings and their spouses Alfred Lauzon (Jeanine), Gerald Lauzon (Janie), Yvonne Boisvert (Jack), Ernest Lauzon, Leonard Lauzon (Verna) and Jeanette Chidley (Chuck). Cecile was an avid gardener, fisherwoman and an incredible cook. Her pies will be missed by all in the family at every celebration. She will be sadly missed by all those whose lives she has touched.
Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Wednesday, January 4th from 2pm – 5pm & 7pm – 9pm. Service in the Banwell Chapel will take place on Thursday, January 5 at 11:30 AM. Interment to follow at Ste. Anne Cemetery. Those who wish may leave a message of condolence and make memorial donations to Parkinson Canada (please specify PSP Research and Patient Support) online at Parkinson Canada
