Born in Earlton to the late Angelbert Léveillé and the late Marie-Berthe Messier. Loving spouse of the late Sylvio Rivard. Loving and devoted mother of François (Yolande), Lionel, Gaston, Huguette (Late Bar), Réjeanne, Sylvie (Brent).
Cherished grandmother of Eric (Julie), Alex (Amanda), Annie-Claude (Patrick), Michèle (Caleb), Kristian (Ashlyn), Justin (Sarah), Joey (Tanya), Allan (Ashley), Amy (Andrew), Kina (Cody), Daniel, Stacey (Mason) and Kyle. The great grandmother of Lexie, Dominik, Dayton, Danya, Katelyn, Jacob, Natasha, Mikael, Kaylee, Cullen, Casey, Brynlee, Everley, Hailey, Alexanne, Joël, Matthew, Bryson, Zachary, and Félix. Also survived by her siblings Antoine (late Jeannine) Léveillé, Florence (Larry) Dugas, Jean-Marc (Jeannine) Léveillé. Also, by her brother-in-law Roméo (Rhéa) Rivard and her sisters-in-law Reina Rivard and Jeanne d’Arc (late Albert) Gauthier.
Predeceased by her brothers Rosaire (Cécile), Jean-Marie (late Colette), Léon (late Rita), Fernand (late Thérèse), Armand, Florent (Shirley) and Victor (Irene) and her sisters Thérèse (late Fernand) Gravel and Angèle (late Peter) Auger. Also, predeceased by her brothers and sister-in law Roger (Cécile), Rosaire (Jeannine), Gérard (late Jeannine) and Loretta (late Raymond) Forget.
Cécile was a woman with a big heart, a good and generous soul, and a very good mother. The goodness of her heart won her the affection of everyone around her. Cécile was a very skilled woman in needlework. She did a lot of craft and quilts. She made little bedspreads which she gave to the hospitals. Cécile was an excellent cook. For years, she helped prepare meals for after funerals, and meals offered by the Carrefour in Earlton. Cécile has been involved in the UCFO and the Golden Age club committee.
A visitation will be held on August 3rd,2022 at the Coeur du Village Hall in Earlton from 9h00 to 10h30. A funeral mass will be celebrated at the St-Jean Batiste Church in Earlton at 11h00 AM. Intermittent will take place at the Armstrong Township Cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the Temiskaming Hospital Palliative Care Unit, or the Heart Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
