peacefully away at the Palliative Care Health Science Center Cecil J.
Bruce of Mt. Pearl, formerly of Jerseyside, Placentia, and born in
Argentia.
Predeceased by parents Patrick
& Anna Bruce, sister Patricia Bruce Power and brother – in –
Law Philip Power, Brothers
Leo and sister
– in – law Annie Shea Bruce, Aloysius, Maxwell, Raymond and Francis,
parents-in-law Daniel and Imelda Woodrow and brother-in-law, Raymond
Colbert.
Leaving
to mourn his wife Anne Woodrow Bruce, stepson Daryl Woodrow, and
sister-in-law Mary Colbert.
Also, sisters
Helen Bruce Griffin & Dave, Annie Bruce Smith and John, Mary
Bruce Kelly and many nieces,
nephews and
friends.
He will be
especially missed by his close neighbors and friends, Danny and Hilda
Tippett.
A special thank
you to Drs. Quigly and Dr. Slad and nursing staff at the
Health Sciences Centre. Also thanks to Anne’s cousins Norah Woodrow and

Funeral arrangements entrusted to
Maher’s Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation to take place on
Monday, September 19th from 2pm to 9pm. Funeral Service to
take place 11am on Tuesday, September 20th at Maher’s Funeral Home,
Placentia. Interment to follow at Dermot McGettigan Memorial Cemetery,
Southeast Placentia.
