Cecil Elton Budd of Golden Years Estate, passed away
peacefully after a short visit to the George Dumont Hospital on
Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Born in New Scotland, NB, he was the son of
the late Wilfred Hartley Budd & Anne Mae
Randall.
As a stay-at-home son and caring uncle to his many nieces and
nephews, Cecil lived his life on the banks of the Cocagne River as a
farmer. Cecil trusted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour at the age
of 16. As an adult, Cecil attended the Gospel Hall and was in
fellowship with the believers there, happily supporting all of the
evangelical outreach activities.
Though Cecil was unmarried, extended family members, nieces
and nephews will all feel this loss. He was a great friend to many. In
addition to his parents, Cecil was predeceased by brothers; Gordon,
Clifford, Clarence, Winston, as well as sisters Marjory Rand and Edna
Bagnell.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road,
Moncton (858-1995) on Sunday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and
7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Memorial Service to Celebrate and Honor Cecil
Budd’s memory, will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel
on Monday, February 14, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be deferred in
the Gladeside Cemetery until a later date, which will be communicated
to family and friends.
Those attending will be asked to provide proof of
vaccination, wearing a mask is mandatory while inside the funeral
home.
In memory of Cecil, donations to a memorial of the
