June 18, 2022 – After enjoying 79 years of life, love, laughter, and family, Bonny passed away shortly after being diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. Bonny chose to go on her own terms, and with the support of her family, who ensured she wasn’t alone at this difficult time.
Bonny was a dear mother to two sons, and a daughter. They in turn gave her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family was important to Bonny, and she loved them all. In these days of blended families, Bonny welcomed all newcomers to the family with love and open arms, whether they had two legs, or more.
Bonny was born in Epson England and came to BC, Canada, as a young child with her family. Bonny lived in many places in BC. It never mattered where it was, she always managed to make it a beautiful place to be.
Cloverdale: Bonny and family built a beautiful house and had many animals and a garden which was too large for just her family. So, Bonny would always give food to anyone who needed it.
Abbotsford: Abbotsford was one of those places in which she took great pleasure as an owner of a ceramic shop and teacher of the art of ceramics. She always gave more then she would take.
Langley: A lady with many skills, Bonny worked very hard renovating her house and turned it into yet another welcoming home.
Quesnel: Bonny was so happy about her home in Quesnel. She loved her neighbors and her world was all about gaming, arts, and nature.
Logan Lake: In addition to maintaining an impressive and beautiful yard, Bonny provided room and board to workers from Highland Valley Copper. Bonny was an active volunteer in the community. She also loved her neighbors and the community.
Bonny moved to Kamloops in 2017, across the street from her best friend and devoted daughter. She led a quiet life with her faithful companion Treacle. They could often be spotted caring for her beautiful back yard, or out for a daily drive.
Bonny touched many lives. A celebration of Bonny’s life will be planned and announced at a later date.
