Passed away peacefully on October 1, 2022 at the age of 54.
Loving wife of Simon Bondy. Adoring mother of Samantha and John. Dear daughter of Pauline and the late John Sich. Cherished sister of Angela (Paul), the late John, Joe (Nancy), Tony (Becky), and Stephanie (Rick). Daughter-in-law of Ann and the late Aurele Bondy. Sister-in-law of the late Arsene (Bonnie), Art (Kelly), Monica (Mark), the late Jane (Bill), Mary (Ray), Catherine, Joe (Colleen), and Bernadette. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Carrie enjoyed travelling, family functions, crafting and had a real zest for life.
A special thank you to the staff of the ICU at Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus and the HDGHC Palliative Care Unit for their outstanding care and compassion.
Visitation will take place at Families First Funeral Home in South Windsor (3260 Dougall Ave., 519-969-5841) on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 from 3 – 5 and 7 – 9 p.m. with parish prayers at 4 p.m. Visiting will continue on Thursday, October 6, at the St. Joseph Church in River Canard from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery on Malden Rd.
