Heim, Carolyn Mary (nee Graham)
Carolyn Mary Heim, 78, loving mother of 3 and husband to John, passed away in the early hours at Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland with her son by her side on Saturday April 30, 2022.
Carolyn was born on April 1st, 1944 in England and immigrated to Canada with her parents, Jack and Grace Graham at the age of one. She was the eldest daughter of 4 siblings, Lynda, Rosalie, Valerie and foster brother Michael.
Carolyn met her husband John at the sweet age of 16 at the Eastwood Theatre. He was an usher and she worked behind the snack counter…aka his candy girl!
And so their journey began. They just celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary. She loved life, music, dancing and her laughter was contagious. She was beautiful inside and out, a kind spirit with a big heart. She was a smart lady who helped in any way she could. May she rest now in the arms of God.
Carolyn will be missed by her loving husband, John; her children, Margaret-Ann (Giovanni), Lauren, John (Marie). She will also be fondly remembered by her 8 grandchildren, Theresa-Rose and Kassandra, Justin and Alex, Michael, Amanda, Jessica and Matthew.
Friends are invited to join the family at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home- Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Sunday May 29, 2022 from 12 noon for the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 2 o’clock.
