Passed away peacefully on Monday, May 23, 2022 at Mariposa House Hospice surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Don Bell (2004). Devoted mother of Donald William Bell (Michelle Soares). Proud grandma of Britani Bell, Tyler Bell, Adam Bell, and Blake Bell. Deeply missed also by Britani and Carolyn’s dog, Lily.
Carolyn was a registered nurse, and was committed to health care and the wellbeing of her community. Her nursing career brought her to the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital in Burlington, Ontario as a Registered Nurse; an instructor in the Registered Nursing Assistant Program at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario; and finally as a Nursing Home Inspector for the Ministry of Health in London, Ontario.
The family would like to sincerely thank Sandra and Amanda at Champlain Manor; the staff and volunteers at Mariposa House Hospice; the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital; NSMH Palliative Care Network; as well as family physician Dr. Dharssi for the exemplary care Carolyn received.
A private service and inurnment will be conducted on Friday, May 27, 2022.
