Passed away on March 25, 2022 at the age of 81.
Beloved wife and best friend of the late Terrence Patrick Sweeney (July 2000). Daughter of the late William Peter and Mary Sové. Survived by dear sisters JoAnne (the late Ennio), Patricia (Marcel), and Frances (Arthur). Predeceased by siblings Kenneth, Charles, Danny, Margaret, Alice, and Barbara. Survived by sisters-in-law Kathleen and Rose Sové and brother-in-law Robert St. Onge. Special aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Special friend to Sharon (Ron), Claire (Ed), Mary, Charlene, Sue, Alexandra, and her euchre buddies Liz (Wes), Doug, and Karen.
Carol’s banking career lasted 42 years, with TD Bank (37 years) and then NS (5 years). She was a Founding and Charter Member of the Irish Canadian C. Club, a 10 year member of the Red Hat Lady Red Roses Windsor, on the Board of Directors of the Lupus Society, and a member of Life After Fifty and Centre Singers for 10 years. Carol was a member of Holy Name of Mary Church from 1958 to 2011, where she was the President and Member of the Gallery Choir from 1979 to 2011.
