Carol Margaret Ann Stern passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at the age of 53 years after a heart attack in Calgary, AB. She is survived by her daughter Desire’e Bennett-Stern; son Devin Stern-Bennett; mother Margret Baldwin; brother Kevin Stern; stepfather Harry Baldwin; stepbrother Ronald Kellestine; nieces Chantelle, Tiffany, and Skye; and nephew Justin. She was predeceased by her father Eugine Stern.
Carol was smart and quick witted and had a sweet demeanor. Carol loved to knit and crochet and would make blankets and small bags for all the kids in the family. She would give them as tokens of how much she loved them. The thing Desire’e loved most about her mother is her pure kindness to the world around her. She would help out anyone in need. It didn’t matter to her who you were, if you needed help, she would be there for you. She had the gift of gab and she could talk to anyone and become fast friends. I think I admire that most about my mom. Her charm and ability to connect to anyone and make them feel loved and accepted. People would always mention how sweet, kind and well-loved she was.
Carol’s urn will be interred with her father at Beiseker Level-Land Seventh-day Adventist Church (16 KM E & 2 KM S of Beiseker, AB) on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 2:00 pm. A dinner in memory of Carol will follow at 5:00 pm. Email info@piersons.ca if you would like to attend and your request will be forwarded to the family.
