Carol Gregoire passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022 at 90 years of age.
Carol was born November 17, 1931 to Robert Hamilton and Marie Bougie in Portland, Oregon, USA. She was the eldest child of 2. She moved to Fort St. John at the age of 7.
Carol loved her farm and spending time in the outdoors. She particularly loved her fancy quarter horses and her herd of charolais cows. Her love of farming and horses led her to many years of involvement in 4H and with the North Peace Light Horse Association.
Carol also loved music, art, training horses and hauling her youngest daughter to horse shows.
Carol will be missed and remembered by her sister Roesmarie McAleney. Her children; Christina (Colin) McGhghy, Roger (Christina) Gregoire, Robert (Olga) Gregoire, Donna Gregoire, Denise (Bruce) Simpson, as well as 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren.
Donations in memory of Carol can be made to the North Peace Ride for the Disabled.
There will be a memorial tea and luncheon at the Charlie Lake Hall on August 8, 2022 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm.
