Carol “Janie” Burkhart of Mascot, Tenn. Passed away November 4, 2022. Carol was a member of Westside Baptist Church.
Preceded by parents, Rev. E.W. Knight and Hattie Knight; husband, Robert Burkhart Jr.; Grandson, Kevin Gross; granddaughter, Melissa Fox; brothers, Carl “Dickie” Brown, Paul Hall, Don Hall, Richard Knight; sisters, Patricia Knight and Bobbie Jo Larcom.
Survived by sons, Darrell Gross (Charlene); daughters, Teresa, Cynthia and Jackie; brothers, David (Paulette) Knight; grandchildren, Jessica, Ashley, Justin, Platoon Sergeant Eric Grubb, U.S. Army, Laura Beth, D.J., and Jacob; Great grandchildren, Cameron, Nathan, Preston, Logan, Jason, Addison, Haley, Kenadi Troy, Jaydon, Nila, Aurora (Rose), Waylon and Emma. Her father Rev. E.W. Knight founded Westside Baptist Church, City View Churches and was involved in planting others. Arrangements to be completed at a later date.
