Muirhead – The death
occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday,
January 11, 2022, of Carol Muirhead, RN of Summerside, aged 83 years.
Born in New Glasgow, NS, she was the daughter of the late Walter and
Vera (Clarke) Bethell. Survived by her children Judy Crossman, Michael
Crossman (Jennifer Campbell) and Sandra (Stephen) Waugh; 11
grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters Walter
(Elizabeth) Bethell, John Bethell (Eileen), Owen (Marsha) Bethell,
Sheila (Wayne) Donner, Donna Harper, Janet (Paul) Stoddard and
Margaret (Marcel) Ouellette; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her first husband Elmer Crossman; second husband Victor
Muirhead; a daughter Carrie Crossman; grandsons Lucas Getson and
Matthew McMurrer; a sister Glenna McGuire; and by her brother-in-law
William “Bill” Harper. Resting at Moase Funeral Home,
Summerside, where a private family funeral service will be held.
Interment later in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations to
the Oncology Unit of the Prince County Hospital would be
appreciated.
