Carol Diane Carnegie, age 80, of Stratford passed away suddenly at home on September 5, 2022. She was born in Woodstock on September 21, 1941, daughter of the late Robert and Myrtle (Lindsay) McGee.
Beloved wife for 56 years to Paul. Loving mother of Dwayne (Jennifer), Andrea, and Trevor (Crista). Grandmother of Kaitlin, Jarrett, Brayden, Zayne, and Kearnan. Sister of Lorraine Bloomfield and sister-in-law to Carolyn McGee. Also, survived by several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her brother Bill McGee and brother-in-law Don Bloomfield.
Carol was a member of Bethel Church Stratford where she was employed in the office for 39 years. Her dedication to the church was shown in many different ways throughout the years, including hosting many young adult retreats, volunteering with different events such as the Christmas shoe box drive and connecting with people through prayer. Carol was known for her handwritten letters and encouraging words. Her compassionate heart touched many lives in the church and the community.
Visitation will be held at Bethel Church, Stratford on Friday, September 9, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will also take place at Bethel Church on Saturday September 10, at 11am.
