Obituary
It is with profound sadness that the family of Carol Ann (Casey) Pineau, loving wife of the late George Francis Pineau, wish to announce her passing which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on March 21, 2022. Born in Rothesay, NB, on April 13, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Agnes (Dow) Casey.
Carol was known for her beautiful smile and her heart of gold. She always offered her shoulder to lean on and offered words of wisdom to who ever needed it. Her passion was her family and animals. Anyone who had the honor of knowing her was truly blessed.
She is survived by her daughter Deborah, the light of her life, her sisters Rose Boucher (Joe) of Edmonton, AB, Mary Margaret LeTourneau (Conan) of Shediac, NB, and Kathy Gordon of Victoria, BC, along with her aunts and uncles and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brother Leonard Casey and brother-in-law Harold Gordon.
Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 25, 2022, at Fernhill Cemetery. The family will meet at 12:50 pm at the Fernhill office on Westmorland Road. Memorial donations can be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation or the Saint John SPCA.
