It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carl Cecil Herbert Kohls, suddenly on December 15, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Kathy (nee Kern). Amazing father to Sandra (predeceased), Tom (Jackie), Lynn, Jeff (Dina) and Lorna (Lonny). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Jacob, Joshua, Kailin, Keira, Kendra, Rebecca, Benjamin (Kendra), Christopher and his great-grandchildren Bentley, Xavier, Kaysen, Oliver, Hailey, Kayden as well as by his faithful dog Niki. Carl was a mechanic by trade and spent most of his career working for EB Eddy. He was a true family man and instilled in his children a great appreciation for nature, fishing, practical jokes, and a good old fashioned water fight. He will forever be remembered for the pink peppermints he always had in his vehicle. He and Sandra will be cheering loudly for the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays from heaven. A huge thank you to EMS who tended to him, to Dr. Andrew Caruso for your kindness and compassion, and the ER nurse who was so kind and helpful to the family. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford on Thursday, December 22, 2022, from 10 to 11 a.m. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
