BUCKNELL, Robert “Bob” Russell
October 15, 1926 — August 11, 2022
Robert “Bob” Russell Bucknell was born in Foam Lake, Saskatchewan. One of eight children born to Henry and Mary Bucknell (née Witty). He passed away peacefully on August 11, 2022, in Kelowna, BC, at the age of 95. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Isabel, brother Jim (Edith), children Gilbert (Edivge) and Barbara (Robert), grandchildren Angela (Nathan), Michael (Victoria), Lea, and Daniel (Tegan), great-grandchildren Mikayla, Kaytlyn, and Bo, as well as many nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbours.
Bob lived a full and wonderful life. One of marked adventure and service. He will be sorely missed.
Bob’s family invites you to join them at his Celebration of Life, to be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 10:00 am, at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. Please note: Masks are required . A reception will follow, at 1:00 pm, at 4010 Angus Drive, Westbank, BC.
