Cicchini, Bruno-
It is with broken hearts we share the sudden loss of our Bru after an incredibly courageous and hard fight at the young age of 59. Bruno leaves behind his family, whom he absolutely lived for, especially his children Alex and Danielle, and his best friend and life partner of 40 years, Mary Liz.
Son of Italia and late Nicola Cicchini. Brother of Dominic (Sandra) and Franco. Uncle to Nicholas, Daniel, Steven (Erica,) Anthony (Stephanie) and Everett Vresk. Great uncle to Kayden, Ivan and Owen.
Brother in law to Daniel Vresk (Fran), Chad Vresk (Melissa) and Tracy McCoy. Beloved nephew and cousin to many.
Bruno was an honorable, selfless man who showed his love to his family and friends through acts of service. To his loved ones, he was undoubtedly the “go to guy” to call when they needed a helping hand. Whether it be strangers, or his family and friends, there is no one Bruno would not go out of his way for to provide help and guidance. It truly was his second nature all his life to always put others before himself.
No matter who came into Bruno’s home, he never failed to make them feel like family. He was at times, a man of few words, but his warmth, kindness, and sense of humor had a way of putting people at ease. Over a long and devoted career at Sault Area Hospital, he came to love and care for all of his employees who meant a great deal to him.
Bruno loved to spend his time outdoors hunting, fishing, in his always flourishing garden or puttering around in the garage. We will forever be grateful for him and the lifetime of memories he has given us. We would like to thank all of our family and friends who have supported us through this challenging time. Thank you to Dr. Booth, Dr. Woolner, and all of the staff on 3B at Sault Area Hospital and Arch Hospice for the care given to Bruno and our family. In lieu of flowers donations to Arch hospice and TAAG.
There will be no funeral services at this time. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
