Obituary of Brian Frederick Carleton Reid
It is with much sadness and shock that the family of Brian Reid of Sus, N.B., announce his untimely passing which occurred on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at his home.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a much-loved son of Fred and Gloria (Murray) Reid, Linacy.
Brian always enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and especially loved camping and ATVing. He was passionate about old cars and for those who knew “Shiny” you knew that everything had to be spotless.
Besides his parents, Brian will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Carley Reid and Jaclynn Reid (Brandon); the mother of his children, Alyson (Williston) Reid; precious granddaughter, Olivia; siblings, Darron Reid and Kim Sutherland (Gordie); special nieces, Kaitlin, Rylan, Reid and Ashton; best friend, Jay Noade; as well as other extended family members and friends.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424).
A private interment will take place in Church Brook Cemetery, Little Harbour. A Celebration of Brian’s Life will be held at a later date.
For those who wish, remembrances made to Outflow Ministry (Men’s Shelter) would be appreciated by Brian’s family.
