It is with heavy hearts that the family of Boutros Nasr announces his passing on September 30, 2022 at the age of 71. Loving husband of Sharifeh for 50 years. Much loved father of Antoinette, Naomi Amso and husband Nawras, and son Nasr. Cherished Jiddou of Cezaar Amso. Dear brother of Elias, Melhem, both of Australia, Deebie of Venezuela, Asma, Nasra, both of Lebanon and predeceased by Mahsen, of Australia. Lovingly remembered by cousin Theresa O’Halloran and family, and late uncle Tannous Boutros and wife Hilwee, as well as cousins Nahla Skaff and family, Mary Mouawad and family, Sadie Mouawad and family, Lizza Younan and family, the late Jamilla Gabriel and family. Remembered by uncles Hanna Boutros and family, and the late Mikhael Boutros and family; aunt Wadiah Boutros and family. Missed by his fur friend Kali.
Boutros was a true pioneer as a Lebanese immigrant who came to Canada to raise a family and to provide the very best Canadian life for them. He was very devoted to his faith and loved the church. His favourite pastime was the garden and time spent with Kali.
If you so desire, donations to Canadian Diabetes Association or a Mass Offering at St. Charbel Church would be appreciated by the family.
