With hearts saddened by loss but overflowing with wonderful memories, the family of Bonnie Ann Cummins (Kiehl-Madliger) of Sarnia, Ontario announce her peaceful passing on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. She was born on December 5, 1955 in Greensboro, North Carolina, the daughter of the late John and LaVern (Wilson) Kiehl. She was predeceased by her husband Garry Cummins. She was the loving mother of Christine Madliger and son-in-law Chris Harris and of Cheryl MacLachlan and son-in-law Brent MacLachlan. She will be missed by her stepchildren Debbie, Courtney, and Sean Cummins. She was the adored grandmother of Elliot and Diana Harris and Kale and Nico Cummins. Bonnie is survived by her three brothers, John, Robert, and Kevin Kiehl.
Bonnie enjoyed travelling the world with her husband Garry, spending time at the beach, and hunting down the best bargains. She will be remembered for her caring disposition, unconditional acceptance of others, and extensive leopard-print wardrobe. She was a kind and compassionate friend to all who knew her.
Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home (1576 London Line, Sarnia) on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Following interment at Lakeview Cemetery, a reception will be held at Smith Family Centre. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Baker Centre for Pancreatic Cancer: lhsf.donordrive.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=donate.event&eventID=561.
