Obituary of Bonita “Bun” Costello
(nee Desjardins)
(January 15, 1941 – January 16, 2022)
With sadness, the family announces that Bonita passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital – Civic Campus on Sunday morning, January 16, 2022; Bonita Evelyn Costello of Arnprior was 81. Beloved wife for over 58 years of Dominic “Dom”. Dearly loved mother of Angela Solar (Jon) of Kingston; Kevin Costello (Audrey) of Perth and Noreen Costello (John Rebinczak) of Carp. Cherished and proud Granny and Gran of Alex, Gracie, Grayson and Evelyn. Dear sister of Donnie Desjardins of Stewartville and June Kerr of Perth. Predeceased by her parents, Albert and Dorella (nee Jolicoeur) Desjardins; brothers: Raymond, Frank and Gary (Velma) Desjardins and sisters: Gertrude Howard (late Ellard) and infant Donna Desjardins. Lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews and friends in Arnprior, Sheenboro and beyond. Bonita’s final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior. A private Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior followed by interment at the Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior.
